Welcome Again Folks
We have been incapacitated for the last 16mos. thanks to a C.I. in Michigan who we trusted and due to a Senate Rep. with a personal vendetta he had against our cause. He is still using our case to introduce and get propositions passed and cause more restrictions to our rights to alternative medications. But we're back and we will keep up the fight because it is something that is our rights and is a proven benefit to the cure and ability to cope with our medical conditions.
Our promise to you is to be as active in the fight for legalization of Medical Marijuana as we can be and to be your source for the progress we make and pitfalls we are faced with. WE NEED YOU to be as active as you can, voting is your power!!

IL: Medical cannabis bill clears first hurdle
Call your Representative in the Morning or email tonight, the HB 30-MMJ in Illinois is going to the floor for a vote and you need to help!
FOLKS WE NEED YOU TO ACT NOW!! We just spoke to Lou Langs office, the supporter of HB 30, and it looks like we are as close as we are going to get to passing the Illinois Medical Marijuana Bill but we still need you to call every Representative in your area and speak up. If we don't, how will our Reps. know our wishes?
This fight over a simple plant has gone on long enough in Illinois and if just even half the supporters for medical marijuana in Illinois would speak out, the Bill would pass hands down from fear the Reps will loose constituent support.
So, next week is going to be Rep. Lou Lang's next shot at getting us approved to receive the med's WE prefer. Folks, please help Lou make this fight a little easier, he is adamant about helping us, why can't we in turn help him? CALL TODAY! Please..
Dear Reverend Wayne:
The Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program Act has cleared its first major hurdle in the Illinois Legislature. In a 6-5 vote, the House Human Services Committee reported HB 30 out of committee favorably. The bill will now head to the floor where we still need to pick up more votes.
Now is the time to contact your elected officials and urge them to support HB 30.
Contact Lou Lang and thank him for his untiring effort in the support of Bill 1381. It is more than just a bill, he feels "it is a life saver if used appropriately." Your voice is ammo to his effort please contact him and just say you are behind him.
If passed, the Act would allow qualifying patients with HIV/AIDS, multiple sclerosis, cancer, and other debilitating conditions to purchase up to 2.5 ounces of cannabis in any 14-day period from state-regulated medical cannabis organizations.
“This legislation is intended to alleviate pain in people suffering debilitating medical conditions,” said Rep. Lou Lang (D-Skokie), the bill’s sponsor. “My goal is to persuade a majority of lawmakers to vote their knowledge and their conscience.”
You can help by asking your elected officials to support the bill. The best way to do so is to call your representative, and we’ve provided you with a short script and all the tools you need. If time is short, it takes less than a minute to send an e-mail using our automated system.
Thanks for all you do!
Welcome once again folks, hope everyone is doing what you can to help Lou Lang, Sen. Cullerton & Se. Haynes, in getting more votes for next session when the bill 1381 is once again proposed.
These party leaders are representing you so think of a war which it is, and you are the soldiers. The General makes the charge but only have of you follow. Will your side win? NO!
One thing we as American's can do is fight for our rights. This Is A War folks, so stand up and bug your representative to vote your way. Won't you be a soldier for YOUR cause?

Well folks we're back to fighting for more votes and this time WE CAN DO IT, if YOU will get with your friends and make sure everyone you know in Illinois has voiced their feelings to their respective Representatives. It's up to us folks, and it's time we united and stood up for what WE want in Illinois. The Representatives are employed, empowered and indebted to and by us!Let's make them earn their money!!
"Aspirin is legal but take 10 and it will be your last headache."
"Prescription Drugs-even morphine are prescribed to me but in Illinois I can't medicate with a flower." Will I be a supporter of any representative who is against "freedom to medicate." NO, NOR WILL I VOTE FOR THEM NEXT TERM. Should You?
If enough of Illinois residents stand together and we can make our own laws, present them to the State, and if enough votes meet requirements, we can get medical marijuana passed by resident demand. It takes petitions being placed and gathered to accumulate signatures and a lot of people who will harvest these votes and present them to your respective Representatives.
The agency MPP, Marijuana Policy Project in Washington, is actively assisting Illinois agencies in the effort and any groups (or you), should contact MPP for fliers, sign up sheets and possible assistance with your groups efforts. http://www.mpp.org
Keep up the good fight and PLEASE join our members. It's free and you will be the first to hear the latest news.
